Asfarena Samion is a Master Couture Designer, an Industry Expert for 27 years. She learnt basic tailoring as a source of income and started to love the art and went all in, from an accountant to a Couture Designer thus the journey was not smooth as people see. She learnt and understood various sewing techniques to upgrade and educate the tailors from basic garment making to the advance stages of couture. With all the experience and knowledge, Asfarena Samion was able to come up with a module ‘Professional Diploma in Couture Sewing Technology’. The module were certified by IBE, UiTM & UK-Textile Institute. And now, she’s sharing her knowledge to B40 community to upgrade their lifestyle.
