Course Content

OBJECTIVE
a) This course is designed to develop couture sewing technique and skills necessary to create advanced collection taking into consideration aspects of craftsmanship and technical for their final collection.
b) This course focus on conceptualizing an original collection in couture sewing technology, fashion portfolio with professional presentation support the collection.
c) Students explore identifying customer profiles, researching major areas of fashion specialization, sources of inspiration and fabrication selection.
d) Students develop portfolio couture technical sketches, illustrations, couture technical patternmaking, storyboards, color storyboards, fabric swatches, costing and complete outfits.

AT THE END OF THE PROGRAMME, THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO
a) produce good fitting collections using couture sewing techniques and technology.
b) produce couture sewing elements with high quality collection portfolio. produce creative and innovative sustainable couture finishing collections
